If technology is integrated into education without considering rural and low-income areas, it could widen the divide rather than close it. Schools must advocate for policies that provide access to digital resources, ensuring that no student is left behind due to socioeconomic conditions..

Technology has positively transformed education in Colombia by providing access to digital platforms and interactive tools that make learning more engaging. It also makes knowledge more accessible through different connectivity options. However, it can also create challenges, such as distractions and inequality for students without access to technology. Even so, over time, solutions can be developed to use technology as an inclusive and effective learning strategy for everyone.

From an ethical and behavioral perspective, technology in schools should be guided by clear rules and responsibilities. The Manual de Convivencia should set firm policies on digital citizenship, online safety, and ethical use of technology to prevent issues like cyberbullying and academic dishonesty. While technology can improve learning, its misuse can also create new challenges that schools must address proactively.
